Be Bad, for Goodness Sake

Be Bad, for Goodness SakeBe Bad, for Goodness Sake by Tara Lain
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

What a sweet romance by Tara Lain. This is Tara's first M/F story. I'm not even sure what to say, I wish there were more. This was a quick read (only about 44 pages), but you still get a full story in those pages.

Review Double Vision by Cassandra Carr

Double Vision (Buffalo Intimidators 3)Double Vision by Cassandra Carr
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If you have read the first 2 books in the Buffalo Intimidators, you know that the guys on this hockey team like to share their women. Both of the first books the heros have shared women and find the women they want a committed relationship with and the men have to convince the heroine to accept a menage relationship. Well meet two teammates/roommates that do not actively share women. Fredrik is currently dating Liz. They are thinking about adding a third. Liz finds Fredrik's teammate/roommate, Rick "Red", attractive. And picks him as their third. He's a newer member of the team and has set ideas on what a relationship should be. Red is attracted to Liz. After Liz invites him to participate in a little fun with her and Fredrik, Red freaks out. Can Liz and Fredrik convince Red that a menage relationship can work out?
I think seeing a hero struggle with a menage relationship is what grabbed me most about the book. The awkwardness after the first encounter and the guilt he deals with is so touching.
Thanks for another great book Cassandra!

Genetic Celebrity by Tara Lain

Genetic Celebrity (Genetic Attraction #4)Genetic Celebrity by Tara Lain
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Genetic Celebrity is another hit in Tara Lain's Genetic Attraction series. This book was so sweet. Tommy is Roan's business partner and Booky is Roan's agent. If you don't know who Roan is you must read "The Scientist and the Supermodel" and "Genetic Attraction". Tommy is bi and has fallen for Booky. Booky things Tommy is gay so she doesn't ever do anything about her attraction to him. Then Roan discovers Shay when he literally falls to his feet. Tommy is instantly attracted to Shay. Booky feels a strange connection to Shay. Taking the journey as these three discovery their feelings for each other was so sweet. I was ready to cheer out loud when Booky finally learns that Tommy is attracted to her and got her mama's stamp of approval even though he isn't Jewish. And poor Shay who has been on the streets for years. He has never known unconditional love or known what a family is like. His journey to happiness has a few bumps in the road but is well worth it.

Thank you Tara! I love this series and hope there are more coming!

Bull riders are hot! Cassandra Carr's Collistion just emphasizes that. Leah is a medal winning figure skater and Brady is a champion bull rider. The same company sponsors both of them and wants Leah to work with Brady on the bull riding tour. Can the King of the Rodeo melt through the Queen of the Ice's heart? Well you'll have to read and find out. I'm looking forward to the next Bull Rider book!

Impact (Buckin' Bull Riders Book 1) by Cassandra Carr

Impact (Buckin' Bull Riders, #1)Impact by Cassandra Carr
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book. The heroine, Jessica, has been reading erotic romance and has taken an interest in BDSM. She starts visiting a club to see if it is something she would be interest in. Who can't related to that? There is a particular Dom that has captured her eye and during a slight altercation the Dom's hood is knocked off and Jessica realizes it is someone she knows, bull rider Conner. Conner doesn't want the people in the bull riding community to no about his preference of being a Dominant. When he sees Jessica is a natural submissive and she works for the NBT, he does his best to stay away.
I loved how Conner struggled to keep his secret and struggles to mesh what he wants in his personal life with his professional career.
There is a lot of oral sex in this book so be warned.

Spell Cat by Tara Lain

Spell CatSpell Cat by Tara Lain

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tara Lain branches into paranormal romance with Spell Cat. Killian is the most powerful male witch to be born in a long time. He is expected to marry within his race and a marriage has been arranged with a powerful female witch. The expectation is they will pass on their power to their children. Slight problem, Killian likes men. Not just any man but a human. According to the teachings of his people mixing it up with humans decreases a witches power. The sparks fly when Killian decides his power can afford the drain of one encounter with the human so he can experience on night on true happiness before he gets married.
This was a good story about a man faced with a choice of true happiness or the obligation to his race.

Cold As Ice by Cassandra Carr

Cold As IceCold As Ice by Cassandra Carr

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cold As Ice is the second book in the Buffalo Intimidators series by Cassandra Carr. And how does she top the first series with Scott, Kelly and Leo. Oh how about adding an third guy. Luc, Jake and Carter, oh my! Eva is one lucky woman! Ok so I really enjoyed seeing Scott, Kelly and Leo. Would have loved to have seen the commitment ceremony between Scott, Kelly & Leo but that isn't relevant. Of the three men, we have two ready to commit. And I love the little tension that goes on. I mean this is a relationship with 3 men, it can be all sunshine and rainbows right? At one point I wanted to smack these men upside the head. The Buffalo Intimidators team are falling ill and Eva told her men to watch their health after starting a new supplement. And do they listen to her, NO! Ugh!

If you like menages this is a great book and if you are not into M/M there is no need to worry there is no M/M in this book. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Fire Balls by Tara Lain

Fire BallsFire Balls by Tara Lain

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tara Lain does it again. If you like M/M romance I recommend this book. Hunter is a gorgeous gay firefighter and doesn't flaunt his sexuality. Rodney is an openly gay artist and flaunts what he's got. Rodney has been lusting after Hunter in secret. Hunter meets Jerry, Rodney's friend and sometimes model, while admiring Rodney's artwork. Jerry is the surfer and asks Rodney to help him woo Hunter. Rodney doesn't think he is good enough for Hunter. But when the firefighter and the artist are forced together during a modeling session, sparks fly. I love Hunter's journey to happiness and acceptance. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Talk to Me by Cassandra Carr

Talk to MeTalk to Me by Cassandra Carr
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cassandra Carr's Talk to Me is a good read.  Finding love in the workplace is something I can relate to.  Although my cubicle has never seen the action that radio studio has.  I was tortured (in a good way, of course)  while Drew learned to break the wall surrounding his heart.
